Professional Testing Method of Oil Seal Performance
Automotive oil seal , commonly known as valve oil seal, is one of the rotary seals. It has good elasticity, low compression deformation and aging resistance, but the rubber seal material must be adapted to the working conditions of the car, the type of medium, working pressure, temperature and application status and other conditions. Automotive oil seals prevent oil from entering the intake and exhaust pipes, causing oil loss, preventing gasoline and air mixture and emission exhaust gas leakage , and preventing engine oil from entering the combustion chamber. The valve oil seal is one of the important parts of the engine valve set, which is in contact with gasoline and oil at high temperature, so it needs to be made of materials with excellent heat resistance and oil resistance, usually fluoroelastomer. In addition to fluoroelastomer, NBR, silicone rubber, acrylate rubber, polyurethane and PTFE are also commonly used materials. The representative form of oil seal is TC oil seal , wh
